Just as the sea surrounds an island, marble embraces wood — the concept that unites the EKERO tables. The name is inspired by the island of oaks near Stockholm, where Tollgard grew up. These side tables join the Archipelago collection, designed by the Tollgard–Castellani duo.
Sturdy bases made of white Carrara or grey Carnico marble, symbolizing the trunks of the island’s oak trees, support solid Canaletta walnut tops through a central metal column. The tabletops feature elegant, rounded contours reminiscent of stones smoothed by the waves. Like islands shaped by the sea, the tables are available in various shapes and sizes — round, square, or oval — and in three different heights.
